Friday's Featured Blogger- Marci at Cincinnati Coupons!

I have a new appreciation for coupons and hard work thanks to the girls at Cincinnati Coupons. It's a fantastic blog, I hope you'll check it out.
Meet Marci!

1.Tell us about yourself-family, job, things you like to do.

I am a 27 (almost 28!) year old stay at home Mom. My husband and I are newlyweds and got married in October.

I call my daughter “mini me”. She is a exact replica of myself and is very scary to watch her grow up. She is my pride and joy. I am so Thankful to God for blessing with her. She is truly my miracle as I never thought I would have a successful pregnancy due to suffering with endometriosis.

As my Mom calls me, I’m a “grease monkey”. I love tinkering on cars with my husband. I have a need for speed and love being at quarter mile drag strips throughout the United States. When my Husband and I retire, we are purchasing a RV and racing! It’s what we both love to do!!!

2. What is your blog about?

My blog is about saving Cincinnati residents money on a daily basis. CincinnatiCoupons.net is truly “Where Saving Money is an Addiction”. Of course, readers from all over the United States are welcome to stop by and see how fun it is to live in the ‘Nati!

I provide weekly store sales and coupon matchups for Kroger, Target, Meijer, Remke, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Dollar General. By teaching my readers how to save money, it’s keeping money in their pockets for the more enjoyable things in life…family!

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

I started “couponing” 2 years ago. I was an avid coupon user before I started blogging but my sister in law, Dena, is the one who got me addicted toHotCouponWorld.com. That night I went home and did not sleep because I was up all night reading all the information. My first shopping trip I saved 68% at Kroger. I immediately called Dena and told her the good news.

From that moment on all my friends and family thought I was nuts, except for Dena. But, they wanted to know how I was getting all these items for FREE! So I started a free website at Blogger.com and it was a place to share my deals. As time went on I was asked to join LittleMissKnowItAll.net and I did. Since then she has moved on and I started CincinnatiCoupons.net.

I am so blessed to be able to help so many people with what I do. I am naturally a care giver. I want to take care of everyone’s problems and make their day better. With CincinnatiCoupons.net I do that on a daily basis! I go to bed thinking about what I need to post and it’s a “job” that I love to do!

4. How do you fit your blog into your schedule? Do you set aside certain times of the day to blog?

I mainly try to post in the morning hours while my daughter is still sleeping. Then I spend a couple hours with her and get back to blogging when she takes her nap. Then I am typically done for the day. Lately my schedule has been kinda crazy because I have been emailing and talking with Cincinnati businesses about providing my readers with coupons. So that has taken up a lot of my spare time.

I am so lucky to have my sister in law, Dena, on board with me now. She is now taking care of all the giveaways and I am grateful to her for taking the time to contact companies to do these great giveaways on a weekly basis. I encourage everyone throughout the United States to stop by for 2 great giveaways every week!

5. What do you hope to achieve in the future with your blog?

I want my site to be a “one stop shop” for residents in the Cincinnati area. I am only one person and can only do so much but, I would like to highlight small local businesses, provide my readers with a collection of “Cincinnati Coupons”, have a calendar of events in Cincinnati on my site and teach an online class to CincinnatiCoupons.net readers. That is all for the future because I am in the middle of re-designing the site as we speak!
