So this is my own pat on the back, and my thank you to all breastfeeding woman out there who gave me the confidence to NIP after nursing two kids. I'm going to do my best to encourage others, and hopefully give someone else the confidence to do it too!

It only took 3.5 years for me to...
Get brave enough to nurse in public!! I tend to nurse the kids in the car or right before we leave, I used to be a little shy when it comes to nursing in public. When I went to Wash. D.C. with my LLL friends, they gave me the courage to go for it, and to not hide! I NIP all over town, not flashing or anything-the right way! I didn't feel weird, or uncomfortable and it appeared that no one was bothered by it! That was such a relief!
So this is my own pat on the back, and my thank you to all breastfeeding woman out there who gave me the confidence to NIP after nursing two kids. I'm going to do my best to encourage others, and hopefully give someone else the confidence to do it too!

Way to Go!!!
Yay! What a beautiful picture!
Congratulations! I'm on kid #3, and there's *still* something holding me back. I have no idea why. I'm a huge bf advocate, but I have always done the same as you...in a car, before I leave the house, etc. I've NIP a handful of times, on the beach, at the movies, at a fast food restaurant in a corner booth. Thanks for posting this! You are inspirational!
This is an awesome post Heather! Way to go! :) ~Kati

good for you! nothing to hide girl!!! if it helps you to be more confident, you should get a breast-feeding cover. heard of them? i have a peekabooby one (www.peekaboobyfashion.com) and i love it. (i was given it as a baby shower gift... now guess what all my friends get from me at their showers?!) i have a review of peekabooby on my blog from a few months back if you're interested. (just look in the "baby faves" label or i think i also have a "breast feeding" label.) i really love mine!!! in any case, bf-ing is nothing to be shy about... so, way to go! :)
