Powermat Review and Giveaway {My Gift Guide}

This past week, my husband and I parted ways across the country as we each left for our own individual vacations. He took his Powermat, and I took my brand new Powermat that I received for review!
What is a Powermat? If you haven't heard of them, you are missing out! Powermat is a "revolutionary wireless charging" system. The Powermat can charge several items-your phone, Blackberry, Nintendo DS, IPod/IPhone, hand held games, GPS etc without the original charging cords! You can charge several items at one time too! Some items you can just set right on to the mat, and others you can use their universal portable charging devices that allow you to still ditch the cords and charge your items while you are away from home!
My husband took our older version of the Powermat to his office, as his company gives their engineers Blackberries so they are always in need of charging their phones while at work! I recieved the latest Home and Office mat for review, along with the Universal Receiver, Nintendo DS Receiver and the Blackberry Curve Receiver. My husband took the BB Curve Receiver with him on his trip since we did not have this model and he is using it every day while he is away! What I love about the Powermat is that it is so portable and travels really well. You just fold it up into it's carrying case and off you go! It takes up so little room, you'll likely forget you packed it ;)

The outside design is so sleek and it would be an amazing additition to any home office! If you are like me and do not have a home office, it's really not hard to find a place for your Powermat. Ours is on our computer desk, and I am able to store all the accessories in a drawer, as they really take up very little space. I've got our DS on the mat right now! Sometimes I play the DS when I am nursing the baby down to sleep, and it's handy to have another charging option for it since I lost the charging cord a few years ago and never replaced it!
The Powermat is an innovative device, and a must have for anyone who has gadgets! This is a great item even if you don't travel, it will clean up your outlets by using just one Powermat to charge your technology!
