More ways to have fun and win with My Pillow Pets!

(This is a news release that I copied and pasted, I did not write this! Check it out!)

My Pillow Pets® Challenges Children to be Word Whizzes

How many words can you come up with based on the names of Pillow Pets™?

Oceanside, CA – November 1, 2010 – “What’s in a name?” Shakespeare famously posed that question and now the people behind My Pillow Pets® are asking it, although asking it with a twist. In November, My Pillow Pets® is launching a contest on its Facebook page. Each day, the company will post the name of one of their popular Pillow Pets™  plush folding stuffed animals on the page and challenge kids to create as many words as they can using the letters in its name. The person who comes up with the most words posted on the page (and as defined in an English dictionary) wins!

Fans just need to write on the Pillow Pets™ Facebook wall as many words as their children can create using those letters.  In the event multiple people come up with the same number of words, a drawing will be held to determine the winner. One winner will be chosen per week. Winners will also be recognized on the new Pillow Pets™ blog (www.mypillowpetsblog.com).

”We’re excited to come up with new and engaging ways for children to interact with the world of My Pillow Pets® online,” said Jennifer Telfer, founder of My Pillow Pets®. “We think a challenge like this is both fun and educational, proving that those two concepts are not mutually exclusive.”

Made of ultra-soft chenille, My Pillow Pets® plush folding stuffed animals are much more than a stuffed animal. With a strap that closes underneath to transform the pillow into a friendly pet, they are an ideal travel pal, naptime buddy and all-around cuddly friend. My Pillow Pets® plush folding stuffed animals are available in jungle animals, farm critters and sea creatures – 36 different animals to choose from – and are just one part of the My Pillow Pets® family of products, which also includes books, blankets, slippers, and backpacks.
