If you could go back in time, what would you tell yourself? [BLOG HOP!]

Ask yourself the following:
If you could write a note to yourself before you had children, what would it say? What would you warn yourself about? What tips would you offer yourself? What stories would you tell yourself? Would you tell yourself to do something differently, or would you keep your life just the way it is?

I think about this alot. If I could go back in time, I would tell my self that what you thought would come natural as a parent-doesn't always happen. Like Breastfeeding. It was hard with my first son, I struggled for weeks. Finally one day we just did it like we were pros, and we both relaxed.
I would tell myself that most normal babies DO NOT SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT for a LONG time!!
I would tell myself that while going from 0 to 1 child is hard, going from 1-2 is even harder.
I  wouldn't so much as warn myself, but give myself more realistic look into the future. I would want my future self to know that being a parent isn't all rainbows and unicorns, but IT IS worth it on every level. I don't think I would do anything different though. I loved the learning experience of it all, I loved being there for my kids every second of every day. The lack of sleep-well you get used to it! It's the absolute best ride of my life-motherhood. It's the coolest club I've ever been in :D
