Wanchai Ferry review and giveaway!

I'm a big Chinese food fan. I blame my father for that :D We would eat at the local Chinese restaurant so often they knew us by name! I remember the first time I successfully used chopsticks, I was pretty proud of myself!
I do not get the chance to eat Chinese very often any more as my husband is not a fan.

Well the opportunity to review a new Chinese dish from Wanchai Ferry came to me and I was hesitant to accept, because I knew I'd be the only one eating it! But I accepted and anxiously awaited for the package to come in the mail!
I was given the chance to try the new Beef and Broccoli dish from Wanchai Ferry. It looked delicious! Not only were there tender beef strips and broccoli, but there were water chesnuts, red bell pepper and yummy rice too. I decided not to wait to try it, I got started making it that night for dinner. I'm not usually a "boxed dinner" girl, I think most premade dinners taste like the cardboard/plastic they come in.
I followed the directions on the package and the second the food started to cook, my house filled with a wonderful aroma! I immediately thought of the family meals at the little restaurant we'd eat at as a kid, it's funny that a smell could bring up happy memories but it did!
The directions were really easy to follow-first you brown the beef and the vegetables together, put the jasmine infused rice in the microwave to cook while the rest of the dinner simmers on the stove, and then add the garlic and soy sauce to your meat and veggies! Easy peasy :D Best of all, this meal was made in 14 minutes! Perfect for those nights when you just don't have time, but don't want to be stuck eating PB & J!
I made a plate for my husband, who begrudgingly agreed to try this as a favor to me and my review! After just one bite he says "Wow! I'm really surprised at how good this tastes!" Well, he was saying that after one bite, I knew it had to be good!
I took a bite as well and am happy to report that it was delicious! It really and truly tasted like a dish right out of an authentic Chinese restaurant! We both cleaned our plates, and my husband was actually a little disappointed there wasn't leftovers!

Did I mention the tea set I got along with my meal? No? Included in my review package was two beautiful tea sets, very authentic! I got two servings of Green tea (yum!) I really felt like I was eating at a restaurant with my tea set along side my Beef and Broccoli meal!

This Wanchai Ferry meal isn't in stores yet, but it is on it's way! There are several other meal options from Wanchai Ferry you just have to try! Here is a coupon just for you all, print it and save $1.60 when you buy a Wanchai Ferry meal! Also check out the website at http://www.wanchaiferry.com/MealTips.aspx later this summer for meal tips to enhance your Wanchai Ferry frozen entrée.

Be sure to try this amazing meal and the two additional new flavors of Wanchai Ferry frozen entrées, Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Style Chicken, which will soon join five other delicious varieties including Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Garlic Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Additionally, all of the entrées have no added MSG!

Now for a fun giveaway! One lucky reader will also get two of the gorgeous tea sets along with some VIP coupons from Wanchai Ferry!
