It's a BOY!

We had our big ultrasound yesterday and we found out we are expecting another beautiful boy!
His name will be Bennett. I'm even more anxious to meet him now.

There were some "abnormalities" in his ultrasound. What they told me was that there was some shadowing or a hypoceic (i'm spelling this wrong) of his pelvis area. Likely an issue with his bowels, kidneys, or something else. OR it is nothing at all. The nurse tried to reassure me that because he was so active during the ultrasound, that the moment the U/S Tech took the picture that he moved just enough to cause a shadow. But I dont want to get my hopes up, but I'm trying to worry too much either. We know absolutely nothing right now expcept for what they told me. So we go in for another ultrasound next month when we get home from vacation, and if we need to , we move on to a specialist in Toledo as that is where the best care for him would be.

Other than that bit of unsettling news, things are going great with the pregnancy. Ben is quite the little mover and shaker. I feel him more and more each day. It was neat to see him so active during the ultrasound! Cooper was at the appointment, but he still doesnt understand. He does like to hear the heartbeat though. I went through all of his old clothes today and sorted out what we can use during the summer/fall. I asked Cooper if he wanted to share his clothes with his brother and he said "yah mom, I can share" I thought that was nice of him :D
I ordered some more diapers for him. But I dont want to go overboard b/c if there are issues that will require surgery or anything after he is born, he will probably be in the hospital for a while.

My plan tomorrow is to go to some of the furniture shops around here (there are a lot!) Most of them have a used/discontiuned section so I am going to look for a changing table and a small dresser. We have limited space right now for the babys stuff since it will be a few years before we get our master bedroom finished upstairs. So the babys things will be in our room and Coopers room. and everywhere inbetween!

Our vacation is coming up in a few weeks! I'm looking forward to it so much. We will be headed down to TN with Bills family. His sister and her husband are coming up from FL. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the drive!
